The kitchen is fitted with a full range of modern appliances, including a dish washer and a fridge freezer. There is a large table that seats six to eight people. The cottage has vaulted ceilings throughout, traditional floor-standing, cast iron radiators, oak flooring and slated floors; with the added comfort of 80 year old vintage Persian rugs. The stunning French antique bed, set on a slate floor in the master bedroom, provides a focal point and, coupled with a lovely small wood/turf burning stove, gives this room a real sense of time. It is simply a special room in which to sleep and relax. This room leads off from the old corridor and has windows looking out over the front of the house. The other main bedroom in the cottage, leads off the same corridor and has a 5ft bed which can be split into two singles. It benefits from views out over the front of the house and is finished, yet again, to a high standard with oak flooring and designer guild fabrics, giving it a truly peaceful yet luxurious warmth. The third bedroom, which is the smallest of the three, is at the rear of the property and is a real treat for anyone to stay in. It has a traditional style irish panelled bunk bed which sleeps two. The bed is fitted with linen curtains to close off the bunks for your night’s sleep and is suitable for adults or children. Leading off the rear hallway, is the family sized bathroom with a standard bath, separate shower and designer fittings. The main living room area has a turf/wood burning stove and hardwood flooring. It also has the added benefit of a 1960 Danish design bed-settee. There are full width French windows, with access onto a large raised modern decking area, with patio furniture for you and your family to relax and take in the views; also this area makes a nice clean space for the smaller children/toddlers to enjoy some outside space, whilst Mum and Dad look on, relaxed.
